This year has been a time of uncertainty for us all. Will we leave the EU? Will the US be taken over by a man with RIDICULOUS hair? Will we ever get over Heavy D making Chloe Kahn wash his DIRTY PANTS?
But, thankfully, some things are still sacred. We may have lost Alan Rickman, David Bowie and proper Toblerones (#neverforget) but at least now we know that we’ll still have I’m A Celeb.
TV bosses have signed a deal confirming three more years of our fave cockroach-noshing fest. Phew.
We started to get a wee bit worried after Aussie land owner Craig Parker threatened to stop ITV using the jungle. In fairness, having a bunch of celebs traipsing about in your back yard is prob a bit of an inconvenience.
But last week it was agreed that the show will carry on being shot in Dungay Creek, Queensland, where it’s been held since 2003.
An insider told the Sun on Sunday: “ITV must have thrown a lot of money at the Parkers because they have managed to smooth this over in record time.”
Earlier this month, the paper revealed that Craig Parker had TV bosses “over a barrel” and that negotiations were looking shaky.
A source said:“The relationship between Craig and the bosses has badly broken down. He’s always found hosting the show on his land frustrating, but in the past has considered it worth the money they throw at him.”
Cops in New South Wales are currently investigating a complaint against the landowner after a shed was vandalised on the campsite and a member of staff was assaulted.
