We’ve got to give it to Martin – the jungle’s been a far funnier place since he bowled into it. From tree hugging to tantrums, the Homes Under The Hammer presenter has provided some priceless moments. But the other campmates haven’t always been so keen, and tonight they saw him swept from his lofty royal perch in a classic gag-inducing challenge.
He started the day calling the camp from the kingdom, demanding breakfast. And hot drinks. And wood. And fire. But it wasn’t long before he found himself in the trials area, along with Adam, Ola and Joel. And for what was the 300th Bushtucker Trial (300? That’s a whole heck of a lot of kangaroo balls), Dec told them they’d “organised a knees up in a brewery.” A Bush Brewery…
Our gag reflexes were working even before we saw what this bar was serving: pig penis shakes, sheep’s testicles smoothies and pints of smooshed cockroach. No, hang on, we’re being sick in our mouths again.
Martin made like the rest of us at Ascot on Ladies’ day – threw up everywhere and got himself thrown out of the royal enclosure and back in with the peasants. And not just that, he also found himself acting as their servant, a thought that put actual tears in his eyes.
Never mind, Martin – at least those trees love you.
