She hasn’t even been confirmed as going into the Celebrity Big Brother house yet but Channel 5 bosses have apparently hired a special legal team to monitor professional motormouth Katie Hopkins whilst she’s on the show.
The former Apprentice contestant is rumoured to be entering the house when the series starts on Wednesday and has reportedly been offered a record fee of more than £400,000.
But, having launched tirades against overweight people, Scottish people and immigrants amongst others in the past, executives are apparently worried she’ll cross the line, especially with her having been reported to police for her comments about a Scottish nurse contracting Ebola last week.
An insider told the Daily Star: “Katie is sure to be a hit with Big Brother fans on the show.
“But she’s also made a name for herself by crossing the line with some of her rants and BB bosses want to make sure she doesn’t go too far.”
Only time will tell as to whether Katie actually does enter the house.
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother stars at 9pm on Wednesday.
