Now that Love Island has finished for the year, we are patiently awaiting the return of Celebrity Big Brother to fill the vacant 9pm slot in our lives on Thursday 16th August.

And whilst rumours are rife as to which celebrity faces could be entering the famous house this year, reports are heavily suggesting that Rodrigo Alves (AKA The Human Ken Doll) has officially signed up.

According to Mail Online, a source said, "It has been two years since Rodrigo has been rumoured to enter CBB. He was meant to do it last year, but due to a complication with his nose, after so many nose jobs, he had pull out a week before the launch.

"But Rodrigo has officially stopped with plastic surgeries for a while. He doesn't want to only be known for that."

Former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas is rumoured to have signed up for the show. His brother Adam was a popular figure on I'm A Celebrity back in 2016.

Rodrigo has spent and eye watering amount on surgical procedures over the years, including the removal of ribs and a fake six pack. According to reports, the reality star has spent over half a million pounds on more than 60 surgeries in total.

The 34-year-old has been rumoured to appear on Celebrity Big Brother for a number of years, and reports suggested he was a firm favourite for last year's series. This was until he had complications with one of his surgical procedures, meaning he was unable to take part in the show.

Despite a number of rumours that Celebrity Big Brother had been scrapped, Channel 5 confirmed the theme for this year's summer series is ‘Eye of the Storm’.

In a statement released by the TV channel they said, 'All of the celebrity names entering the house will have been caught up in their own media storm. And now, the celebrities are once again putting themselves in the public eye and this time they have a lot to prove.'

Although Channel 5 are yet to officially confirm any of this year's contestants, we can't wait for the new series!

Celebrity Big Brother starts at 9pm on the 16th August 2018.
