Soon after he entered the Celebrity Big Brother house it was rumoured Kavana was originally planning on taking his Smash Hits award in because he just couldn’t bear to let it go.
It seems there might be something in that because the former teen pop star has used a similar story after he was set a task on tonight’s show.

The singer was called to the Diary Room and told by Big Brother to make three of his housemates so teary and emotional that they gave him a hug.
He first made Keith Chegwin feel sorry for him by saying nobody laughed at his jokes before moving on to Michelle Visage, who he tells a sad story about his friend Alfonzo.
But it’s on his third try on Katie Hopkins and Cami-Li, who was evicted last night, that he really pulls out the big guns.
He told the pair he once beat Gary Barlow and Peter Andre to winning a Smash Hits award before spending the night alone in a hotel room.
The singer then tells them the award is now with his mum “because I haven’t got anywhere to live”.
Aww, Kav! You poor soul. Well, the tale worked and Cami gave him a hug before Katie went off to get a tissue.
The housemates had some right ol’ LOLZ when he revealed it was a task, telling them: “You were all so genuine, I felt so f**king bad. I’m really sorry.”
Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on Channel 5.
