Here at heat towers, we're massive Gogglebox fans. After all, what's better telly than watching other people watch telly? We thought the answer was NOTHING.
However, it turns out there is something better... watching celebs watching telly! And now, thanks to Stand Up To Cancer, we can do just that.
Yup, Gogglebox has been given a high-profile makeover, with some sparkly celeb guests... But who are they? When is it? And what time will it be on?
When is the Gogglebox Celebrity Special?
The programme will be aired at 9pm tonight (3 November) on Channel 4.
Who is appearing on the show?
**Ed Sheeran, Example and Big Narstie **
Ed Sheeran recently broke his arm after a biking accident and had to cancel some of his gigs, so it's probably for the best that he's sitting back with a couple of his mates, Example and Big Narstie, relaxing and watching some TV.
Speaking about appearing on the show, he said: “I’m such a huge fan of Gogglebox so it’s going to be weirdly surreal to actually be part of it with two of my closest friends but when it’s for an incredible cause like Stand Up To Cancer, how could we say no?”
**Jeremy Corbyn and Jessica Hynes **
When Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn isn't busy running the shadow cabinet he's apparently partial to a bit of Eastenders. He'll be sharing the sofa with W1A star Jessica Hynes, to talk about the week's telly.
Speaking about being on the show, Jeremy said: “I’m delighted to be involved in this year’s Gogglebox Stand Up To Cancer special.
The campaign, in partnership with Cancer Research UK, does such important work for the thousands of people diagnosed with cancer in the UK every day and I’m honoured to have been invited to take part with Jessica in such a fun way.”
Jessica added: “I absolutely love Gogglebox and couldn’t be more thrilled to be on it alongside Jeremy Corbyn.
“I’m slightly worried what he might think of my viewing tastes but it’s all for an excellent cause so I hope he’ll let it slide. I’m always happy to support the brilliant work that Stand Up To Cancer do."
Liam Gallagher, his mum Peggy and his son Gene
When Liam Gallagher isn't slagging off his brother Noel on Twitter oraccidentally revealing that he's a massive Love Island fan, he can be found chilling with his mum, Peggy, and his son, Gene, watching TV.
We're hoping for some Liam style rants about whatever winds him up, and another iconic name slip up...like that time he called A$AP Rocky 'ASAP Ricky'.
He's the second Gallagher brother to appear on the show after Noel did a cameo alongside Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss in 2014.
Liam said: “It’s an honour and privilege to be invited on one of my favourite TV shows, the mighty Gogglebox, especially with my fam and for such a great cause as Stand up To Cancer”
Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne
Considering Sharon Osbourne is currently a judge on this year's The X Factor, we're hoping tonight's episode includes her watching herself on last weekend's live shows... now THAT would be entertaining. Sharon will be joined by her rockstar hubby, Ozzy Osbourne, as we take a glimpse into their super glam living room.
They said: “Being able to support such a brilliant cause like Stand Up To Cancer means such a lot to our family – the fact that we can sit on the sofa and watch a load of TV is an added bonus.
"We had such fun filming and are thrilled that we can join the Gogglebox families and play our part this year.”
Freddie Flintoff and Jamie Redknapp
World famous international cricketer Freddie Flintoff will also be hitting the couch with football legend Jamie Redknapp (who's recently had some marriage dramz with his wife Louise...).
Freddie said: “I love watching Gogglebox so being able to be on it with Jamie will be great fun, especially when it’s in aid of such an amazing cause like Stand Up To Cancer. I just hope we can come up with something interesting to say!”
And Jamie added: “Cancer affects so many of us and we all need to play our part in beating it. Freddie and I are chuffed to be joining the list of Stand Up To Cancer Goggleboxers and hope together we can help raise vital funds and awareness for the campaign.”
Will the original cast still be on the show?
Yup. Alongside all the celebs, we can also expect to see all the OG Gogglebox faces, too. Refresh your memory about that lot here.
