Like most people with eyes, ears, a TV licence, and a floor-length cloak for spontaneous moments of spookiness and treachery hanging in their cupboard and a dream, the heat team are massive fans of The Traitors, so you can imagine our excitement when we learned that Celebrity Traitors was officially happening.
Thank f*ck, to be honest, because those series 3 withdraws symptoms are still very real.
The Celebrity Traitors rumour mill has been in full swing for months and months, and not only has the full cast-list been released (and the BBC are are NOT kidding when they say CELEBRITY Traitors) but the whole bloomin' series has been filmed and the celebrities are already back in their lavish homes doing celebrity things like collabbing with Hello Fresh and popping to Soho Farmhouse for the weekend just to get away from it all. Life stress, ya know?
And no shade to 99 percent of the celebs we write about day after day, but this isn't your usual line-up of Love Island alumni, axed TOWIE stars and Apprentice finalists...
Who is taking part in Celebrity Traitors?
The following celebs are taking part in the first Celebrity Traitors and spent the majority of May 2025 filming in and around Ardross Castle.

When does Celebrity Traitors begin filming?
Filming began in the Scottish Highlands towards the end of April 2025 and lasted around three weeks.
When will Celebrity Traitors UK hit our screens?
Unfortunately, while we know the spin-off is in currently being edited, the BBC is yet to confirm an official release date. All we've been told is that it will be released in the 'autumn of 2025'.
How many episodes will we be getting?
According to the BBC, the celebrity edition will play out across nine nail-biting episodes.
Will the Celeb version be the same as the normal version?
You just want to know it all, don't you? Sadly, it's too soon to know for sure. But the phrase 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' comes to mind.
Saying that, a statement by Mike Cotton, Executive Producer for The Traitors, suggests that the overall format, location and host will all remain constant. He said, 'We are thrilled to be inviting some celebrities into our castle to come and play the game. Seeing famous faces navigate the round table or don the infamous green cloaks will be unmissable TV, and what a double treat for the fans with Series 4 also confirmed too. There's a whole lot of exciting treachery and deception yet to come from the Highlands… Claudia’s going to have to pack some extra knitwear.'
We do know that a regular series is 12 episodes long and the celebrity version will be just nine episodes long, so there's that. But remember, celebs are busier than us mere mortals.
