Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has banned the ‘C’ word – and by ‘C’ word, we mean C-O-L-E.
The X Factor judge was angered by the show’s warm-up man Ian ‘Roycey’ Royce after he used her former name off screen.
The funnyman struggled to pronounce the ex-Girls Aloud singer’s name properly, prompting her to brand him “ignorant”.
A source told The Sun: “Royce said he had trouble pronouncing it but she gave him a withering look and said it wasn’t hard to say ‘unless you were arrogant and had no common sense’.”
Roycey tweeted to publicly apologise to Cheryl, writing: “I love @CherylOfficial She stands up for what she believes in and speaks her mind for what she holds true. I respect and admire that.
“I’m getting destroyed on Twitter by the @CherylOfficial fans…I got the name wrong…I apologised. Let’s all move on.. Twerks.”
That’s right, Roycey! Distract them with your jiggly bum!
