Chloe Jasmine — an X Factor contestant created when a powerful witch condemned Katie Waissel to live out the rest of her days inside the body of a model — has a real accent, guys.

(The witch was called Elphanaeza, Warden of the South. And this isn’t even the first mad thing she’s done, lately: she also transplanted Jedward — who manifest themselves fully formed after an especially erratic cheese dream both enjoyed and endured by Louis Walsh in 2009 — into the bodies of Blonde Electra, for reasons unknown. Why, Elphanaeza. Why.)

Anyway, according to definitely-real-person Chloe Jasmine’s mum Denise Whichello, the posh model’s posh model accent is totally real and not made up at all, even though it sounds really made up, and everyone thinks it’s made up. It’s not made up.

“Everyone is fascinated by my daughter's accent and whether it's fake or not, but it's definitely real," she told Wells Journal, while Elphanaeza made a skull sacrifice to the old gods in a bid to transplant Olly Murs’ soul into the body of Rik Waller. "When she was about 11, she attended Tina Witham's drama school and had speech lessons with her. That's where the accent comes from."

She added: “I know I'm her mother but she just has that special something, over the last couple of years she has been working successfully in London as a model but she has always loved singing.

"Her voice reminds me of old school Hollywood and I love it when she sings Ella Fitzgerald. She's a pleasure to listen to." SO WAS WAISSEL, DENISE. YOU SEE HOW THAT ENDED.

Chloe joins Lauren Platt and Stephanie Nala in Cheryl’s three final acts in this Saturday’s live shows, where they’ll be joined by a ~mystery~ wildcard act.
