Does Clare Skinner have children?

Yes. She has two sons with director Charles Palmer, William John and Henry Thomas. Clare’s marriage to Charles ended in 2016.

What is Clare Skinner most famous for?

Well, playing the iconic matriarch in the Outnumbered series. The show is one of the most-adored comedy shows in BBC history, and also starred Hugh Dennis, Tyger Drew-Honey, Daniel Roche and Ramona Marquez who are all grown up now.

How old do you feel?

Outnumbered followed the Brockman family and parents Sue and Pete who were 'outnumbered' by their three wild children, Ben, Jake and Karen. As well as having five popular seasons, there were four Outnumbered Christmas specials in 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2016. There's even talk that there could be even more one-offs.

Fun fact for you, the Brockman family home is supposedly plonked in Chiswick, West London. And, though the house's fictional address was on Keely Road, it's actually situated on Dempster Road in Wandsworth.

Aside from Outnumbered, Clare has also starred in Lark Rise to Candleford and the 2011 Doctor Who Christmas Special.

Are Clare Skinner and Hugh Dennis together?

We're not going to lie, Clare and Hugh were the perfect double act as the Outnumbered parents, so all our dreams basically came true when they revealed they were in a relationship in REAL LIFE back in 2017.

In 2019, Clare broke her silence on her relationship with Hugh, calling their romance a "lovely little life surprise".

Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, Clare said, "We are [together]. It's a lovely little life surprise, isn't it? It's a lovely thing."

Fast forward to 2022 and the pair are still together but are notoriously private.

Just goes to show what on-screen chemistry can do, doesn't it?

Will there be an Outnumbered reunion?

We really hope so! The last time the cast reunited was in 2016, but the episode was so well received that everyone is hoping for a few more one-off specials in the future.

Actor Tyger Drew-Honey, who played Jake, told Metro in 2021, "The key word there is episode! I don’t think that’s off the cards. I don’t want to say the Brockmans were one of the nation’s favourite TV families but there are a lot of fans out there who would like to see more.

"I don’t think there will be another series but it’s not impossible that we may see another special."
