Are Coronation Street stars BANNED from appearing on Strictly Come Dancing?

Because that pisses right on our Beverley Callard dreams

Harsh news, Strictly Come Dancing fans. It's said that Coronation Street stars are NOT ALLOWED to take part in the show.

We are gutted. Now we will never see our queen, Beverley Callard, tripping the light fantastic etc. Why is life so cruel?

And it was our hero (of fitness and style) Bev who spilled the beans during a Twitter chat with a fan.

"I absolutely love Strictly!!!!!!! X" she posted on Saturday night, because her eyes aren't painted on.

"Me to Beverley," a familiar fan replied.

"Rooting for Lesley and Judge Rinder, Would you do it if asked. You where brilliant on L.W. yesterday [sic]"

"Oh I'd love to. We're not allowed," Beverley replied, smashing that dream into tiny, glittery pieces.

Now we come to think of it, Corrie stars have been remarkable by their absence, especially when one considers how many EastEnders stars shake their groove thing about each series.

And yes, we know Tina O'Brien AKA Sarah-Louise Platt took part – that was during the wilderness years (Waterloo Road).

In other TV news: TOWIE's Megan McKenna has sent a FROSTY message to Pete Wicks. But will they get back together? There have been rumours that a reunion has already taken place but Megan seems to have shot them down, blasting:

"I'm sick of press making up stories from one pic taken by hungry paps."

Just so long as that sweet, sweet screen time belongs predominately to Pegan, eh?

And it's reported that The X Factor's Honey G's relatives are "embarrassed" of her.

More fool them, we reckon.

Strictly Come Dancing continues at 7:15pm on Saturday 30 October. It'll be Halloween week, woooOOOoooooooo!

Remember when Ore Oduba injured his PENIS filming Strictly? That was a funny time.
