There's no denying that reality TV shows such as I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Here, Celebrity Big Brother and Strictly Come Dancing can resurrect a celebrity's career, so there's no real surprise that a number of celebrities put themselves forward for a place on the shows.
And new reports today are suggesting that not one, not two, but three stars of** Coronation Street** are all fighting out for a spot on the new series of **I'm A Celebrity **when the show returns later in the year.
After Jennie McAlpine's successful stint on last year's series, her** Corrie **co-stars Shayne Ward (Aidan Connor), Katie McGlynn (Sinead Tinker) and Faye Brookes (Kate Connor) all reportedly want to appear on the popular show.
After Jennie made it into the semi-final with comedian Iain Lee, Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas and eventual winner Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo, it seems Jennie's appearance has given Shayne, Faye and Katie an idea.
According to new reports in a national newspaper, all three actors are 'eager' to follow in her footsteps.

And whilst nothing has been confirmed by I'm A Celebrity bosses about which celebrities will appear on the 2018 series, Shayne Ward did announce he will be leaving **Coronation Street **later in the year.
Shayne, who proposed to his girlfriend Sophie Austin in December, is set to leave his role as Aidan Connor in a 'dramatic' storyline later in the year. Although no details of his exit have been revealed, according to reports, viewers are in for a treat with the exit being dubbed as a 'massive moment in TV'.
