Coronation Street's live episode offered viewers the chance to display a message on the chalkboard in the Rover's Return, and the winner opted to write a proposal message to his girlfriend.
So far, so good.
HOWEVER, the winner, who went by the username @LiterallyAdam migh literally be, erm, fake, as since submitting his message to the show his Twitter account has been deleted.

A show insider told The Mirror that they're frantically trying to track down the mysterious and supposedly happy couple.
They said: "They’re looking into trying to find Adam and Katie, but they haven’t had any luck let.”
Maybe his bride-to-be had a sudden change of heart? Or maybe his lady Kate never really existed?

The chalkboard was shown halfway thorugh the live episode, as the camera panned off to side, just before an ad break.
The account, which didn't include a picture or a full name, later tweeted: “I’m officially engaged, thanks @itvcorrie what a night!!’.
ITV had congratulated the couple, saying: "The proposal was fantastic and created a real buzz post the episode. Everyone here is thrilled for Adam and Kate, what a way to propose."
