Fans of Danny Dyer will be happy to hear that the 41-year-old actor has only gone and got a new job after taking a break from EastEnders for six weeks - he'll be hosting Have I Got News For You.
The Mick Carter actor will reportedly host the panel show next month which follows his stint on ITV's Good Evening Britain show where he infamously called ex-Prime Minister David Cameron "a tw-t" during his rant about Brexit.
According to The Sun, producers signed him up because of his "everyman approach". The news comes after the publication reported that Danny will also star in a follow-up of his Who Do You Think You Are? episode.
A source told the paper, "The BBC has endless posh presenters but Danny offers something different. Beeb bosses think he makes dull topics accessible, and they think he’ll do a good job at holding the fort on Have I Got News For You.
"All being well, he’ll front the show next month and the public will get more of his succinct views on the state of Britain."

Meanwhile, Kim Fox decides to join the local choir but is left upset by Ian Beale so she decides to get revenge by telling him that Mel Owen is taking part too.

When he rocks up at rehearsals he's disappointed that Mel is a no-show. Ian then decides to leave the choir but after Jean Slater gives him some wise words, he returns.
It was recently announced that Danny was taking a short break from EastEnders to star in a Harold Pinter play in London. During his time off, Mick Carter (the character he plays) has been in prison after Stuart Highway was shot in the pub.
EastEnders viewers are aware that it was actually Stuart who shot himself and framed his former BFF however the rest of the residents are none the wiser. Despite the majority of the Carter household standing by Mick, it seems that his wife Linda has turned her back on her husband.
