It seems the brains behind Die Hard are clinging onto the once VERY popular franchise and are coming back with a sixth instalment. According to a report from Deadline, the new title of the sixth film is Die Hard Year One (imaginative) and it will be a prequel to all first flick.

More news!

Director Len Wiseman is heading up the movie and it’s claimed that Bruce Willis could reprise his role as super-action cop John McClane. To be honest, we can’t imagine anyone but Bruce doing this role justice.

Deadline claim he’s not officially signed up the film but they say he’s being kept in the loop and will make a decision at a later point.

The first *Die Hard *film shot Bruce to stardom and was nominated for four Oscars.

Come back, Bruce. Although some of the films in the franchise haven’t been the best – we’re still holding out hope.
