SPOILERS GALORE
Was it just us, or was last night’s Doctor Foster ABSOLUTELY MENTAL?
We’re still reeling from it, tbh.
After probably terrifying our neighbours by our loud screams during that jumping in front of cars situation, we were shocked and appalled when we thought Doctor Foster was about to kill her estranged husband.
We were still more shocked and appalled when the series finished with cliffihanger Tom running away from his parents (we’d have done the same, tbh, they’re awful).
But, sadly, it looks like we’ll never know what happens to him - because the BBC have seemingly said there won’t be a series 3.
FFS.
The BBC wrote on Twitter: "Gone... but never ever forgotten. Thank you for joining us for #DoctorFoster."
This comes after Writer Mike Bartlett told Radio Times at the start of series 3: “Depending on what happens at the end of series two, a third might not be possible. That’s all I can say really.”
Mike also revealed he gets defensive when people describe Gemma as ‘mad’.
“I don’t think she is, she’s just very angry.
"If it was a man behaving like that, you wouldn’t say he was mad. You’d say he was fighting back.”
