It’s only February but there’s already been a lot of talk about the new series of Love Island hitting our screens in summer 2018.
One rumour doing the rounds is that, due to the immense popularity of the last season, there’s going to be two villas on the Island right from the start of the show.
“Given just how massively popular the show became last year they're desperate to make sure the next series really kicks off with a bang", a source told The Sun.
"They're planning on the season opener beginning with two big villas - just like they introduced midway through last series.”
Which would mean there’d be EVEN more mega fit guys and gals on our screens, right?
The source continued: "And they want to throw in nearly double the amount of contestants to really stir."
YAAAAS. Bring on June, tbh.
Unfortunately, an ITV spokesperson has come along and ruined all our fun by dismissing talk of changes to the existing Love Island format.
Speaking to MailOnline, they said the rumours were "pure speculation - no decisions have been made regarding the next series of Love Island.

However, not everyone is as impressed as we are. Some viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the new show and but not all were complimentary.
Several Twitter uses harshly branded it a 'BTEC version of Love Island' - referring to the A Level qualification alternative.
One viewer wrote: "Survival of the fittest just seems like a BTEC Love Island tbh."
