Ferne McCann, Mark Wright, Joey Essex, barely a day goes by when we don’t mourn their passing out of Towie and onto if not better then certainly different things.
And now an old Essex face has been talking about his return to the show. His rather frequent returns.
Mark’s cousin Elliott Wright has revealed why he can’t seem to stay away from the programme he kind of left.
“I've always said if they want me to do a cameo – in Olivia's [his restaurant] – then I'm happy to do so.
"If it means me filming with Gemma or Arg, you know my real friends from before Towie, then it makes sense,” he told OK! online.
Elliott was most recently seen in series 21, the current series, having a lovely drink with show stalwarts GC and Bobby Norris.
And that’s not the only reality TV Elliott’s involved in. As well as Playa in Marbella (lol), he and his now wife Sadie agreed to let cameras follow them in the run up to their big day.
And, for the figure they commanded, we can’t say we blame them.
“I don’t need to do a wedding show. I had my own show and I was doing stuff on ITV. When I was first approached I said no.
“But then I spoke to Sadie about it and at the end of the day you have a television company that want to spend half a million on your wedding and a lot of people film their actual wedding day,” he told The Sun.
Half a million! That’s a lot of buttonholes.
