Last night, our week of mourning, crying and pining after Love Island finally came to an end – Celebrity Big Brother launched.
Among the line-up is MIC’s Sam Thompson, the legend that is Ab Fab’s Helen Federer, and absolute bae Sandi from Gogglebox, and it looks set to be a good’un.
Predictablty, a load of shit has already gone down – Sarah Harding threw shade at Girls Aloud by saying she'd been in a girl band and didn't like it, Jordan Davies slammed ex-girlfriend Megan Mckenna on his VT, and we’re pretty sure Emma Willis threw a teeny bit of shade at reality show rival Love Island.
We’ll level with you. For us, choosing between Love Island and Celebrity Big Brother is like choosing a favourite child. It can’t be done. They’re both wonderful in their own special ways.
Speaking right at the start of the live launch last night, Emma said: “Welcome to the best reality show in the world”.
And later on, when Paul Danan was entering the house, she asked him about his appearance on the old version of Love Island.
Paul then replied: “Can’t believe you mentioned that great show!”
And Emma replied: “The old one, yeah”.
