In case you missed it, last night was a pretty big day for the Love Island ladies, as their feelings were put to the test during the lie detector challenge. And we don’t know about you, but we were pretty much hiding behind the back of the sofas because things got so awkward…
Liv Attwood was seriously fuming after being asked whether she'd come on to Muggy Mike Thalassitis, while Gabby Allen failed the all-important ‘do you love Marcel?’ question, to the absolute horror of GARCEL fans everywhere.
Eeeek.
But despite being absolutely GLUED to our TV screens, we couldn’t help but think that really, deep down, the lie detector wasn’t that accurate. (Everyone’s favourite voiceover guy, Ian Stirling, said it was about as real as a fake Gucci Handbag, after all.)
So when ex-Islander, Jon Clark, took to Twitter to reveal some top secret information about the lie detector challenge, we couldn’t believe our eyes, tbh.
Yup, apparently, the test is the same one that’s used on Jeremy Kyle… and it doesn’t get more legit than that, does it?
In a desperate Tweet last night after all the mega dramz unfolded, Geordie Shore star Nathan Henry tweeted: “PLEASE Ex-Love Islanders how accurate is the lie detector test for the sake of my own sanity, I'm loosing my mind…”
We feel ya, Nathan. We feel ya.
And TOWIE’s resident bad boy, Jon, was more than happy to reveal all, replying: Lol it is the same one they use on @itvjeremykyle.”

Does that mean that Gabby actually doesn’t love Marcel Sommerville after-all, and Liv really doesn’t wanna be going out with Chris Hughes?
Well, before you start freaking out, it seems that some other ex Islanders are slightly less convinced that the test can be trusted.
Kady McDermott was quick to respond to Nathan, saying: “It’s a load of crap basically lol.”
While Cara de la Hoyde responded: its a fabricated test to provide entertainment last year @ab_bowen07 machine fell off half way through and I had to stick it back on him.”
Hmmm. Fess up then Jon, are you telling porkies?
