Phoebe Waller-Bridge is seriously the woman of the moment right now - not only is she heading up the writing team for the insatiable Killing Eve, but she recently starred in a Star Wars film as a robot, no less, and is also on the writing team for the upcoming James Bond film.

But let's not forget what kick-started Phoebe's rise to fame and stardom... Fleabag. The TV series starring Phoebe as the main character was adapted from her one-woman show of the same name, and has become one of the most popular TV series in recent years.

Tragically for fans of the show, Phoebe confirmed that the recently-aired season two would be the end of the show, confirming that it was the end in February 2019 to The Hollywood Reporter - but told the publication that she "could be surprised" by another potential season.

Her on-screen sister Sian Clifford, who plays Claire, also told the BBC that there would definitely not be a third season, and that the season two finale was a "beautiful, perfect ending."

Jodie started out her acting career way back in 2008 at the age of just 15, having attended a weekend theatre school and winning a competition at a local drama festival. She then had small parts in Holby City, Waterloo Road, Doctors, Casualty and Silent Witness, before landing the role of Chloe Gemell in E4 series My Mad Fat Diary. But Phoebe has now jokingly revealed the conditions under which she'd return for a third series - and we've got to say, we're well up for it. At an Amazon event earlier today, Phoebe told the panel that she has a "fantasy of bringing Fleabag back when I’m 50," immediately after ruling out a third season. Please let this happen!

This comes after Amazon boss Jennifer Salke revealed that she was desperate for Phoebe to make another series, saying, "Anything Phoebe wants to do, nothing would make us happier to bring another season of her show. Anything she wants to do. I’m forever the optimist."

You and us both, Jennifer.
