Footballers’ Wives cast: what are they doing now?

Oh, how we longed to be as sassy and self-aware as Tanya Turner back in the day. She was just QUEEN of the WAGs, wasn't she?

Since the show's cancellation in 2006, Zoe's done pretty bloomin' well for herself in the world of TV. She's gone on to secure leading roles; including playing Vanessa Gold in EastEnders (2010-2011) and Reenie McQueen in Hollyoaks (2015). Zoe also finished tenth in the 2009 series of Strictly Come Dancing. These days, in 2022, Zoe's enjoying a laid back life at home with her daughter Lilly, and you can follow her on Instagram @_zoelucker.

We had literally the biggest crush on bad boy Jason Turner in the early '00s. We're putting it down to the perfectly-preened facial hair and gruff voice, tbh.

Cristian's Hollyoaks character Ray McCormick was killed off the show in 2013, but he's more recently directed a number of projects including 2011's The Glass Man. He's even wrote a short film, near, and you can follow his artsy Instagram @crisolimeno.

We're not gonna lie, we very nearly changed our name to Chardonnay by deed poll thanks to Susie's Footballers' Wives character. CLASSY.

Since leaving the show, Susie's appeared in Hotel Babylon and Coronation Street. Oh, and who can forget axed 2008 drama Echo Beach? A classic gone too soon. Plus there's the fact that she welcomed her very first child in January 2019 and another in October 2020 - congratulations are definitely in order. Chardonnay's other half Kyle was an absolute heartthrob (he looks the exact same so it's fair to say he's still hot, tbh), but where on Earth is he now?

Arguably one of the show's most successful stars, Gary Lucy returned to Hollyoaks as fan-favourite Luke Morgan in 2017 and still appears on the Channel 4 soap now. He also played Will Fletcher in The Bill, took part in Dancing on Ice twice and was in The Full Monty. Gary has FOUR children (yes, four) and frequently shares snaps of his brood on Instagram @gary.lucy

No prizes for guessing which famous footballer Ben's character Conrad Gates was styled on. We're still obsessed with this outfit.

Ben's played Nick Tilsley in Coronation Street since 2009, which isn't bad going. He had a short break in 2017, but he's now returned to Weatherfield and has featured some of the soap's biggest storylines.

Remember Earls Park F.C's club chairman Hazel? How could you not. Scary af, she was.

In quite possibly the strangest Twitter feud of all time, Alison found herself getting into a disagreement with outspoken US rapper Azealia Banks back in 2015 over the treatment of women and the gay community. Still wouldn't mess with her. She also had a recurring role on EastEnders as a no-nonsense police investigator. These days, Alison works as the co-creator of Hulu's Harlots and she loves to show off her gorgeous pup Marney on Instagram @newmaniser. Alison also popped up back in Albert Square as DCI Samantha Keeble at the start of 2022.

We're not sure we'll ever forget Jackie's shagging-Jason-on-a-snooker table scene. What a moment.

Let's not forget Gillian first shot to fame as Kathy Beale in EastEnders; with her returning to Albert Square in 2015. She also had a brief stint in Hollyoaks - like most of the other FW cast, it seems. These days, Gillian still plays Ian Beale's long-suffering mum Kathy and regularly appears in Albert Square.

We, again, fancied Ian a lot. No surprises there.

Nathan now lends his voice to video games, having worked on Titanfall and Battlefield 1. On his Instagram, @adventuresinlight, Nathan also tries his hand at photography, sharing artsy snaps from around London.

Katherine's first major role was in Footballers' Wives, in which she played Ian's wife Donna.

Katherine had a brief stint on Holby City in 2014 but, much like Nathan, she also works as a voiceover artist these days.

Not only did Jamie appear in Footballers' Wives as Harley; he was also in the show's ITV2 spin-off, too.

Jamie's still a regular on the tellybox, and joined Casualty in 2013 as Max Walker. After leaving in 2018, he reprised his old role for a brief stint on Holby City, but hasn't been seen on our TV screens since.

Salvatore was just SO BLOODY SUAVE. Obsessed to this day.

Daniel's since popped up in a few episodes of Coronation Street and appeared in almost 50 episodes of BBC drama Doctors as Franc Christophe. Oh, and he was in Neighbours. These days, from the looks of his Instagram - @schutzmann.daniel - Daniel's on the gym hype big time ud83dude02.
