It's the news Frozen fans (read: essentially all children across the planet) have been waiting bloody ages for. Yup - the sequel to the really-quite-successful Disney movie finally has a release date.
Actor Jonathan Groff, the chap behind the character Kristoff, appeared on Lorraine this morning to spill all the deets on Frozen 2; confirming he's already started working on the film ahead of its theatrical release in 2019.
In a chinwag with Lorraine Kelly, Jonathan revealed: "They are doing another Frozen, I actually just started recording Frozen 2 last month."
Great, so when's it actually coming? GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT, Jonathan.
When is Frozen 2 out?
"I think it's going to be released in November 2019," he said. "It'll be here before you know it."
Now please excuse us while we give the entire office a dramatic rendition of Let It Go and inevitably end up with a disciplinary. Sorry not sorry.
Saying some other not-quite-as-interesting stuff about the Frozen franchise, Jonathan aded: "I had no idea it was going to be this big. I don't think anyone working on it had any idea how successful it would be.
"I remember when I first read the script and realising that the true love in the film ends up being between two sisters as opposed to a man and a woman and that felt so revolutionary to me.
"You never know when something is going to be a hit and that hit in a way that was completely unexpected."
So only a-year-and-a-bit to wait. Brilliant.
