We don’t mean to be dramatic, but we’re about to bring you the most exciting bit of news since The Inbetweeners Movie was announced.
GAVIN & STACEY IS (maybe) BEING MADE INTO A FILM.
We’re almost crying with happiness too.
There’s been speculation about it for a while, but now Larry Lamb (who played Mick, who was on the telly) has dropped the biggest hint yet.
Speaking about the possibility of a film, he said, according the Daily Mail: “I don’t think anybody that was in it would ever say no to it.
“I think it’s highly unlikely that they’ll ever make another television series of Gavin & Stacey.
“I think it’s a distinct possibility that one day, they might make a film, that’s it. That’s purely conjecture... It’s got a huge audience, so I’m sure that’s what they’ll do.”
We’d just like to take a minute to remind everyone that, given the series ran from 2007 – 2010, little baby Neil the baby would now be EIGHT YEARS OLD.
AND GAVIN AND STACEY’S WOULD BE SEVEN.
C’mon, Corden, hop on a plane back to Essex and make this happen!
