This is not a drill folks, Gavin and Stacey could be coming back into our lives and we’ve never been more ready for anything in our entire lives.
Cheeky scamp Rob Brydon, who played Uncle Bryn, has only gone and reignited our hopes of a reunion by teasing that he'd love the show to return for its 10th anniversary this year.
The show, created by James Corden and Ruth Jones, was an absolute hoot and ran from 2007 until 2010.
Yep. It's really been ten years. We feel very old.
Ruth Jones - aka Nessa - told Radio Times last year that there will NEVER EVER be any more episodes OR series, "I can promise you absolutely that there are no plans to make one…
"No, sorry folks, no more Gavin & Stacey planned!"
However, Rob told The Sun that he's willing to help change their minds: "If James and Ruth want to do it then I think we’d all do it. It’s them really. I think it’s a real balance between, ‘let’s leave it on a high, people love it,’ but there’s also a big feeling of, ‘oh it would be so lovely to get back together and do a special.’
"Just one Christmas special, that would be nice. In the past I’ve always said I don’t want to do anymore because I wanted to leave it on a high, but I must admit, mellowing in my old age, I’m thinking now, it would be lovely because everyone likes each other. We’ve lost Maggie who played Doris, she’s gone now."
Rob added that even though they're all busy, they still love each other very much.
"I’m very proud of the show. And I love playing Bryn, so who knows. I wouldn’t rule it out."

Love Actually did it for Comic Relief. The original stars of Grease are planning something to celebrate the 40th anniversary next year. It's only fair that Gavin and Stacey do it too. Right?
If only James Cordon wasn't busy being a mega telly star in America eh? Maybe there can be a Gavin and Stacey CARPOOL KARAOKE.
