There's been a lot of talk and controversy (as much controversy as a TV baking show can get, tbh) over the new Great British Bake Off line-up and its move to Channel 4.
It was confirmed that the show will be judged by Paul Hollywood and Prue Lieth, with Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding (yep, you read that right) presenting following the show's big move.
However, it's been reported that things didn’t exactly get off to the smoothest of starts between Paul and newbie Noel.
According to The Sun Online, a source revealed: "Noel has confided in pals that he and Paul weren’t instantly on the same page. They’re chalk and cheese. Noel is offbeat, whereas Paul can be gruff and by-the- book. When they met, Noel realised how little they have in common."
The source continued: "There were a few tumbleweed moments...There was never any tension but it wasn’t the love-in Paul had with Mel [Giedroyc] and Sue [Perkins] and Mary Berry."
Ohhh, the good ol' days.
The pair are reported to have become much closer now and we're SOOO excited to see what Noel, Sandi, Prue and Paul have in store for the next set of amateur bakers.
In other Bake Off news, we've heard through the cake-vine that there is going to be two hour long Christmas specials!
So cancel all your other Christmas plans IMMEDIATELY (Sorry Gran).
Last year’s Christmas specials on the beeb pulled in an audience of 7.3m across its two episodes on Christmas Day, so we’re expecting GREAT THINGS.
