What's the saying? That right – all's fair in love and Geordie Shore. Just when you thought we'd reached peak will-they-won't-they with Marnie Simpson and Aaron Chalmers, he's hinted to heat that it could all soon be on again. Again.
"It's quite hard because everyone has an opinion," Aaron told us ahead of the launch of the Geordie Shore: Big Birthday Battle.
"If it's going to happen, it will happen. But it's daunting because no relationship in that house has worked in the past.
Apart from - weirdly - Sophie Kasaei and her boyfriend Joel Corry, that is.
"I don't know what's happening to be fair. She's one of my best friends, but we'll see. We get on so well so I'd never want to lose her as a friend. It's a hard situation. I'd be annoyed if she ever got with anyone in front of me but I don't think she would. If it's meant to be, it will be.”
VAGUE ENOUGH FOR YOU?
So what of Marnie's recent revelation to heat magazine that she's bisexual?
"I didn't find out until the morning it was printed!" says the walking pair of HD brows. "I rang her and she was like, 'Oh I forgot to tell you.'
"Fair play to her for coming out – it's a big thing. She was getting with birds when she was drunk, so why not just be honest and tell everyone. As long as she still fancies me, I'm not bothered."
Fingers crossed this is the series these two lovebirds finally get over their minor road humps. If only they'd stop leaving the show to marry TOWIE's Ricky Rayment (Marnie) or getting tattoos of other girl's names after one date (Aaron). Tiny obstacles.
