The Geordie Shore lot are no strangers to controversy – just try counting up the number of times they’ve pissed on themselves/punched holes in various walls/tried drunkenly flailing at each other, and you’ll quickly run out of fingers and toes.
But the latest speculation about what the cast has been up to during filming has angered even them.
The Sun reports that their recent trip to the Greek island of Zante ended in disaster after Holly Hagan, Charlotte Crosby, Gary Beadle and Scotty T allegedly caused “thousands of pounds” of damage to the villa they were staying in.
They also apparently smashed up a boat they used – and now the production team is said to be going after them for cash.
“The cast are furious and the girls are refusing to accept that the damages are down to them,” an insider told the newspaper.
“On the one hand the show encourages them to go wild, yet reprimands and fines them when they do so. Charlotte and Holly have been particularly outspoken and told show bosses where to go.”
The source added that the cast is “up in arms” about it, especially given that the producers make a lot of money from each series.
None of the stars have mentioned anything about the latest drama on social media yet, so it could be a big ol’ storm in a teacup.
Anyway, who the heck agrees to rent out their swish holiday home to the Geordie Shore lot without double-checking their insurance policy? And investing in some seriously wipe-clean wallpaper…
