In news that we can hardly believe we're writing, it appears that a Geordie Shore movie may be on the cards.
It seems that 13 series, of which we have seen every. single. episode and we're not even kidding, is not enough for MTV's reality behemoth and we could be treated to a feature length escapade.
But, it will come with a twist.
Despite the TV show being 100% FOR REAL, despite Chantelle Connelly saying the show is set up, and Holly Hagan claiming that producers keep the cast hungry to provoke fights, the film would follow a plot line.
Specifically, one like The Hangover's.
So… they'd be doing an acting then? OK.
Gary Beadle revealed more, saying: "There's a company who's making it and the script has already been written.
“Someone's going to film it and then they're going to go to MTV and say, '‘Look do you guys want it?
"'Then get involved or we’re going to make it.' We’d be in it. It would be our movie,” the Beadle told The Sun.
Hmmm. We're going to hold off buying popcorn just yet. We leave copyright issues for the squares but it kind of feels like a branded Geordie Shore movie could only take place with MTV's say-so.
Unless it's a film that just happens to have the same stars but isn't branded. Like… The Rutles. OK, you think of a better analogy.
