If you’re a fan of 5 Seconds Of Summer and, err, megaphones, you’re going to love this – the band were followed by a film crew whilst filming the Good Girls music video.
In the promo, the cheeky chaps play a very well behaved string quartet who are attempting to turn bad girls into good girls, somewhat unsurprisingly.
And video director Isaac Rentz has something very serious to say about the concept behind the video: “I wanted to make something that had an empowering message for girls.
“And we’re kind of having fun with the idea of some of the expectations that girls have put on them to be quiet and mild-mannered.”
But drummer Ashton Irwin doesn’t seem too excited by his good boy character, saying: “Basically there’s a lot of girls screaming, and I’ve been sitting behind bars watching them.
“OK that sounds creepy. But not as creepy as my hairdo today.”
Well, yes, it does look very sweaty.
Meanwhile, it seems guitarist Michael Clifford, who is seen blasting strange sounds from his megaphone throughout the clip, is keen to bring back one of the ideas that was dropped – he was originally supposed to dress in women's clothes.
He joked: “Have we canned the thing with me being a girl?”
We NEED to see this!
