Googlebox makers are apparently worried that cast members will 'do a Scarlett' and become too famous for the show.

Executives at Channel 4 show are reportedly so afraid that others might ditch the sofa for greater things that they've banned the cast from contacting each other and attending glam showbiz parties. Daym.

The hit series features families and bffs who sit n watch telly, with their hilarious commentary providing the lols nationwide.

Not sure how anyone can get the fames from that? Well, they have, and that's got bosses a lil bit concerned.

Scarlett Moffatt, the show's most successful star by a mile, ditched the sofa for a place on I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and has now landed a hosting role Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

Last month it was revealed that Reverend Kate Bottley has apparently signed up for the next series of Celebrity MasterChef and is even reported to be represented by the same agent as Mary Berry and Claudia Winkleman.

Now it's being reported that Gogglebox's Sandra and Sandi, the Michael family, Leon and June, and Stephen and Christopher, have been banned from messaging each other and arranging meet-ups.

They've supposedly also been told to stay away from glitzy showbiz parties and put on a strict curfew.

Gutted.

Not exactly the glam lifestyle you have in mind when you sign up to a reality TV show, but appaz such restrictions help keep the sofa 'real'.

A source on the show told the Daily Star: "Channel 4 knows the show works because it's normal families watching TV in their homes.

"They don't want so-called celebrities on it."
