The X-Factor returned to our tellys last weekend and it was a joy to be able to stuff our faces with our fave takeaways on a Saturday night. Of course, like every year, some auditions were hilarious. But a particular person stole everyone's hearts over the weekend – Grace Davies.

Who is Grace Davies?
Grace Davies is a 20-year-old girl from Blackburn who lives at home with her parents and two siblings. She works in a warehouse packing CDs and t-shirts but in her spare time she does what she absolutely LOVES – singing.
Grace has been gigging since she was 16 years young, performing at local pubs, weddings and birthdays.
Friends of Grace told her that she would be singing in pubs for ever. But, luckily, she didn't listen and decided to audition for The X-Factor anyway.
Grace Davies first X-Factor audition
Grace, auditioned singing her own song 'Roots'. The heart felt song left the nation in awe. The X-Factor judges, Nicole and Sharon, even got a little teary eyed.
Grace expressed at her audition for The X-Factor 2017 that she doesn't believe a popstar has to be glamorous – you know, living up to the stereotype. She would in fact, much rather be comfortable in trainers and a baggy t-shirt – our kinda girl, eh?
Did the judges like Grace Davies audition?
Like? They absolutely LOVED. Grace received 4 yesses from the judges. But, a particular special comment from Si – "My God, this is a beautiful, beautiful song."
