13 Reasons Why is pretty much all the heat office/ everyone with a Netflix account/ everyone without a Netflix account but is still logged into their ex's and hoping they won't notice can talk about.
Though the first series of 13 Reasons Why doesn’t seem to leave itself open to a second series and has already covered all the contents of the book it’s based on, rumours have been rife that there will be a new season of the show. And we're really, really hoping they're true.
We've putting a lot of thought into how the second series could play out, given that the focus of the show is essentially the death of its lead character Hannah Baker, played by Katherine Langford. BUT, the most reason word on the street which all but confirms a second series suggests Hannah WILL be in season 2.
Here's what we know so far.
According to showrunner Brian Yorkey, "Hannah's story is still very much not finished."
He continued to the Hollywood Reporter: "She's an integral part of whatever the next chapter of the story is, and she's very much still at the centre of it."
Brian reiterated the fact that the show skips between past and present, so there would be potential for Hannah to pop up in flashbacks in future series.
But what about the tapes? And her voice over? Will we see Hannah's story told from a different perspective?
We need answers. ASAP.
We recently had another little hint that 13 Reasons would be back for round two when it was reported that FITLORD Ross Butler (we love him), who stars in both Riverdale and 13 Reasons Why would not be returning to the former hit show.
