This Morning

Ever since This Morning's Holly Willoughby was announced as Ant McPartlin's replacement for this year's series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, rumours have been rife over who could be replacing her on the popular daytime talk show. The mum-of-three will join Dec Donnelly in Australia later this year as Ant takes some time out of the spotlight to focus on his addiction recovery.

And whilst Phillip Schofield is staying on the This Morning sofa whilst Holly faces creepy-crawlies down under, ITV still have yet to confirm who will join him.

Amanda Holden is currently the favourite to replace Holly Willoughby on This Morning when she flies out to Australia later this year. Coral's Harry Aitkenhead said, "Amanda stepped in for Holly back in 2014 when she was on maternity leave and she's our favourite to help Phillip once again whilst Holly goes into the jungle."

Rylan often works well with Emma Willis, who is his Celebrity Big Brother partner. They presented together earlier this year and went down an absolute treat with viewers.

Rylan Clark-Neal

Rylan Clark-Neal is a regular face on This Morning - he had a long stint on the show as a showbiz reporter, and occasionally stands in as a presenter when the regular hosts are away.

Rochelle Humes

The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes may be currently presenting Lorraine whilst Lorraine Kelly is away, but it wouldn't be too difficult to hop to a different ITV set, we're sure. She's also presented the show in the absence of other presenters before, too.

Gok Wan

Fashion guru Gok Wan was a huge hit with viewers when he hosted the show alongside Rylan Clark-Neal earlier this year, so perhaps he'll return whilst Holly's down under.

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford present This Morning on a Friday and also when Phillip and Holly are on their holidays. Could it be that Phillip will step aside too, and make way for the two to continue their partnership?

Fern Britton

Fern Britton was the face of This Morning for a whopping 10 years, presenting the show alongside current host Phillip Schofield and formerly John Leslie between 1999 and 2009, when she left on her 52nd birthday. She'd be the perfect stand-in!

Sarah Greene

Sarah Greene has been presenting on TV since 1980, and previously worked with Phillip on Going Live! for six years. She stood in for Holly and presented with Phil once again on This Morning a number of times last year.

Christine Lampard

Although Christine Lampard (née Bleakley) is often a stand-in for Holly Willoughby and has presented alongside Phillip before - they're good pals - she's heavily pregnant and will most likely have given birth and be on maternity leave by the time I'm A Celeb...! comes around. But who knows!

Alison Hammond

Alison Hammond is an absolute HOOT and is well-loved by This Morning viewers for her occasional segments - who can forget that moment she surprised an elderly lady in her home with Ainsley Harriott?! More of that please.

Jeremy Kyle

Although he has never presented This Morning, talk show host Jeremy Kyle has stepped in to present Good Morning Britain a fair few times over the last year or so - could he do the same for This Morning?

Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan

Richard and Judy were the OG presenters on This Morning, hosting from the very start in 1988 to 2001. The husband and wife duo went on to have their own show, entitled Richard & Judy, so perhaps they'll return to their roots in Holly's absence.

Vanessa Feltz

Vanessa Feltz has been a TV personality since 1992 - so she's VERY experienced. Having previously presented the show, she wouldn't be a stranger to the show.

Ben Shephard

Ben Shepherd is a regular face on the ITV circuit - not only is he a regular presenter for Good Morning Britain, he also hosts daytime challenge show Tipping Point. He's an official stand-in on This Morning, so he could be a front-runner to present the show.

Caroline Flack

Caroline Flack seems to be EVERYWHERE at the moment after the success of her presenting stint on Love Island since 2015, which means that she very well could be take up the This Morning reins.

Mollie King

Strictly Come Dancing star Mollie King presented This Morning throughout August this year, so she's got the experience! She even looks a titchy bit like Holly... Well, they're both blonde at least. Coral's Harry Aitkenhead added, "Mollie King is another in the mix and as a hugely popular figure at the moment would certainly go down well with the viewers."

Olivia Attwood

Love Island 2017 star Olivia Attwood has appeared on This Morning as a presenter previously, so there's a chance she could take over Holly's role.

On today's Good Morning Britain (1st Oct), Holly and Phil appeared together to discuss how they would cope without each other, with Holly even confessing that Phil was one of the first people she told about the new gig.

Phil said, "Holly phoned me up. She said, 'I’ve been offered this, what do you think?' I said, you have to take it, it is amazing!"

"And then he laughed at me. A lot," Holly responded, before Phil joked, "Holly can’t handle a fly coming at her... So Australia, where everything kills you..."

However, when asked about who would be replacing Holly, the pair clammed up. GMB presenter Piers asked Phil, "Do we know who the hot, young replacement is yet?" to which he coyly responded, "I do."

Holly added, "We do [know who it is]… he’s in very safe hands."

Although nothing has been confirmed, rumours are rife that Christine Lampard - who just gave birth to her first baby - could be taking over the role whilst Holly heads to Australia.

The TV presenter has worked with Phillip before as the pair presented Dancing On Ice together after Holly took time out to have a baby, and a TV source told the Mirror, "Christine is the natural first choice because she and Phil work so well together both on and off screen.

"Everyone has their fingers crossed because she’s such a lovely person to work with – and the viewers love her too."
