Happy Birthday Ant! I’m A Celeb host celebrates in Australia

He's had a difficult year but Ant McPartlin has cause to celebrate.

Not only is he back to his best and back in Australia for this year's series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, but it's his birthday today too.

The Geordie star admitted back in June that he was checking into rehab to deal with his drug and alcohol addictions. And ever since, there's been speculation that he might not be well enough to be back to business, so you can imagine our excitement when it was confirmed he would be on our screens for the ITV show as usual.

And it looks like he was indulging in some sweet treats with not one, but two, birthday cakes. Well he deserves them doesn't he!

The first featured an image of his beloved dog Hurley while the second was a rather smart affair created by the hotel he's staying in while filming I'm A Celeb.

They both look delicious to us and we think this should be a new trend. Two cakes for us from now on pretty please.

The popular presenter received many birthday wishes from friends and fans alike, which we're sure will have made his day even better.

The 42-year-old took to Twitter to say thank you, writing: 'G’day! Thank you for all my Aussie birthday best wishes. You lot are Bonza!'
