So, we all know that I'm A Celeb is NOT being filmed in Oz this year due to the global pandemic. And we all thought we knew it was being filmed in Scotland, right?

We were wrong.

ITV have announced that this year's series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! will be filmed in Wales at Gwrych Castle, Abergele in Conwy County Borough, North Wales.

Doesn't it look delightful?

ITV said, "As on the regular series, viewers will see the celebrities undertake gruelling trials and fun-filled challenges to win food and treats in the lead up to one of them being crowned, for the first time ever, King or Queen of the Castle."

I'm A Celeb bosses have allegedly approached Jessie J following reports that they want to book "top talent to keep viewers hooked". We hope we get to see Channing Tatum waiting at the bridge for her, tbh.

Lord Elis-Thomas, The Welsh Government Deputy Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism said “We’re extremely pleased to welcome such a large production to Wales, offering a chance to showcase a spectacular part of our country to significant audiences across the UK."

The rumour mill is going wild as fans speculate which celebs will be taking part in the show this year.

Vernon Kay, Jessie J, Tiger King star Carole Baskin and Corrie legend Beverley Callard are just some of the names rumoured to be in talks with bosses.

Vernon, who was reportedly offered a big money deal to sign up for the show, recently broke his silence on the rumours.

“The reason why that story came out, I think, is because I've been asked for the last two or three years to do I'm a Celebrity,” he told Radio Times.

“I've always turned it down. I think my name must have still been in a notebook and it's been floated around.

“We'll see. Never say never. Like I say, I've been asked two or three times in the past and it's not been the right time so I don't know.”
