I’m A Celeb: Lady Colin Campbell’s son issues stark warning about his mother

Lady Colin Campbell’s son has issued a warning to her fellow I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! campmates, claiming his mother is a “lioness” who “will pounce”.

Socialite Lady C adopted 22-year-old Dima from Russia when he was a baby and he insists she is not putting on a show for the cameras.

He told the Daily Mail: “You are seeing the true Lady Colin. My mum is a lioness – cross her and she will pounce.

“She’s a survivor and she’s a fighter and she will get her way no matter what.”

Dima admits his mum’s strong attitude has been somewhat of a problem in the past – he has worried about bringing home girlfriends, although they have mainly managed to get along with his parent.

He said: “Most of them seem to find a sense of admiration for her, but I usually warn them that my mum is quite strong-minded so it would be best not to cross her.

“Equally, my advice is that if you do, then stand your ground and do it properly.

“Otherwise you will get mown down.”

Meanwhile, it seems I’m A Celeb producers have been well aware of how Lady Colin had the potential to be television gold as they’ve been trying to get her on the ITV show for a while.

Dima said: “The producers have been trying to get her into the jungle for years and my brother and I always wanted her to do it, but she probably felt we were a bit too young.”
