The Vamps guitarist James McVey is currently winning the hearts of the nation during a stint in the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle. But the 24-year-old, who has been in the band since it began in 2012, opened up in an interview with the Mirror just before heading to Australia about his secret problems with an eating disorder.
James, whose band The Vamps have huge hits like 'All Night' and 'Can We Dance', has been living on a diet of rice and beans with the occasional feast over the past couple of weeks, depending on how the Bushtucker trials go, and said he's "come full circle" in the interview.

He said, "Fans always send me pictures from years ago and I’m stick thin and I didn’t realise back then just how thin I was. I was ill and I looked ill. I’m happy that now I’ve come full circle and see food as positive.
"I don’t want to belittle other people who have anorexia but I think it’s definitely had a negative relationship with food in those early days."
