Ah, winning… It’s always great to triumph in something, even if it’s just so you can do an evil laugh in the face of those you beat because we’re nice like that.
But it seems Vicky Pattison isn't like us because she's having trouble coming to terms with the fact she’s been crowned Queen of the Jungle on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
Click on this lot. Or don't. Up to you, tbh
The former Geordie Shore star was named winner of the show last night and looked like she couldn’t believe her luck when hosts Ant and Dec announced the news.
After leaving the jungle in Australia, Vicky was greeted by a hoard of fans at the luxury hotel where the cast are staying.
However, she reportedly struggled to speak and was helped out of her stretched limousine by her mother Caroll.
A source close to the reality star told the Daily Mirror: “She might have looked disorientated but she is struggling to cope with winning.
“She was just super emotional and needed to get some rest.
“She is still trying to get her head around the fact she won.”
Vicky admitted she was stunned to win after the finale of the ITV reality show and even thought she might not be able to cope being out of contact with her family in the jungle.
She said: “I am thrilled to ribbons, I never thought for a million years I would win.
“I thought I was going to be a massive fanny and miss all me make-up and clothes but I didn’t. Once I got in there, I just let it all hang out. I came here to get down and into it all.
“I think at heart I am a normal person, a bit of a grafter.
“It is great to be with people you love and want to bring them back food.”
The reality star also admitted her time Down Under was a bit of a learning curve but her campmates helped get her through.
She said: “Normally I am a bit of a nutcase. I am young and I make mistakes, and I will be feisty, but in there it is hard to argue with people you like and admire.
“There were more important things to worry about, we all had to pull together.”
