The news that there might be a third Inbetweeners film is getting us more excited than Jay was when he finally got a blowjob, and Greg Davies dropped a hint it could happen at the BAFTA TV Awards last night.

Greg, who played lunatic giant Mr Gilbert, said: “We'd all jump at a [another] film I'm sure, but I'm unaware at this moment there are any plans.

"We had a right old run at it,” he continued to The Sun.

He also theorised about possible storylines for the revival, saying: "Those four boys are nearly 50 now. We're the same age, they've caught up to my age.

"If they do decide to do something with it, it'll be a very different format I guess.

This comes after James Buckley, who played Jay in the show, posted a pic of the cast and crew out for dinner together.

He captioned the snap: “Inbetweeners series 4 pre production meal #inbetweeners”, and everyone lost the plot.

One fan wrote: “i really hope this is true! Lol 😄”.

Another added: “I know it's probably just a little reunion for the 10th anniversary or something, but for f*** sake...I really want this to be real."

A third chimed in with: “This has made my year!! Can’t wait!!😬😬😬”.

We’re just dying to find out WTAF happened with Mr Gilbert and Will’s mum, tbh. Make this film happen
