The board in charge of censoring movies in India has banned Fifty Shades of Grey, despite being shown a less raunchy version with less swearing, less nudes scenes and about 37 per cent* less of Jamie Dornan's bum.
"It did not pass, but it is not unusual as many mainstream films don't get clearance in the first step, people have the option to go for a revising committee's opinion," explained Shravan Kumar while speaking to the Press Trust of India (PTI).

"The theme of the movie is such that it could not be cleared in the first viewing. In the second step, a wider committee will review the film."
Maybe it's just an excuse for that kinky bunch at the film reviews board to get mulitple viewings of the steamy flick based on the book by E.L. James - but an insider said the film was voted against being passed, at 4-1. Several of the nudey scenes and swearing from the film are thought to have been cut.
The source said: "Our next step would be to go to the revising committee. These delays simply eat into revenues and encourage piracy,"
Despite dividing opinion, the movie is thought to have made £319,987,175.06 - which is pretty immense considering the movie only cost $40 million to make!
*We made up this number. But we're sure you'll think anything less than 100 per cent of Jamie Dornan's bum is too great of a loss.
