Big Brother winner Isabelle Warburton has credited her spectacularly orange tan with helping her win on the show.
The Warrington lass was a late entry on this year’s civilian series but came out on top during last week’s final, scooping nearly £65,000.
The reality favourite’s very bronzed look was noted by her fellow housemates and viewers alike and she openly spoke about how she was happy with her sometimes golden hue.
And Isabelle believes the confidence her tan gave her along with her bubbly personality helped her win over the public, encouraging viewers to vote for her as their champion.
On her tan, she told The Sun: “It definitely boosts my confidence. I think that it was because I’m so out of routine I just needed to put double the amount on just to make sure I was covered in all areas.
“It was a nice feeling - I felt good when I was bronzed. I definitely would have argued more with housemates if they hadn’t allowed me to bring it in.
“If you needed a little time out - grab the bottle, just have a little five minutes just doing your tan. You feel regenerated, feel recharged.
“You feel a different person. You feel amazing, like you’ve just stepped off the plane.”
Isabelle entered the competition late and surprised her fellow housemate, former Ex On The Beach contestant Kieran Lee, with her appearance as they had previously slept together on holiday and he did not know she’d be entering the house.
She calmly stood up to disgraced former stripper Lotan Carter, who was ejected from the show for violent behaviour, and his pals when they ganged up on her, helping her to win the audience’s hearts.
And Isabelle went in prepared, making sure she was as tanned as possible so she felt strong.
She said: “I took about four bottles in and they took it away after a couple of rule breaks and then they gave me four brand new bottles after I’d done a task and that’s when I got a bit emotional.
“We got no hot water and no fake tan. It was hard but before they took it off us I put three layers on and didn’t shower for three days.”
