Here at heat we're always looking for ways to broaden our minds, expand our knowledge base and just generally become worldly wise. If we can do all that while kicking back and enjoying some really great telly, then we're be over the moon.
Enter Jamestown, a brand-new eight part drama set in 1619 Virginia, during a unique period of time following the lives of the first British colony of Jamestown.
The show is jam-packed with love triangles, bitter rivalries and fierce competition, causing conflict for the residents. Their twisting storylines "follow the disruptive new arrivals as they make an immediate impact and are thrust into a new world of love, desire, power and survival."
SOUNDS BLOODY GREAT, RIGHT?
Check out this tongue-in-cheek whistle-stop history of the setting for Sky 1's exciting new drama series, before its premiere at 9pm tomorrow.
