Absolute mega FITLORD Jamie Dornan has just shattered our hearts into a thousand tiny little pieces and said he won’t reprise his role as Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades series.

Speaking on Lorraine this morning Jamie revealed he thought he was ‘too old’ to keep playing the raunchy AF character.

When asked if Fifty Shades Freed would be the final film, he replied: “Yeah I think so.”

He continued: “There’s no other books. Erica wrote the first two books again from Christian’s perspective, but I guess we’ve done those films, the same stories so they won’t be doing that again.”

EUGH. Very frustrating, tbh.

Jamie also added he thinks he’s cracking on a bit too much to keep playing the sadomasochist Mr Grey.

“Unless Erica keeps writing, but Dakota and I are – particularly me, I’m getting too old for this,” he added.

To be fair, it does look like tiring work.

During the interview, Jamie spoke about the fact his wife Amelia Warner had never actually seen any of the films.

“She’s very supportive of them all, she’s been to every premiere and was there for the entirely of filming, all three of them,” he explained.

“I guess we haven’t worked out a reason why she needs to see them. We have this idea of watching them when we’re much older, in our seventies or eighties.”

Rita Ora, on the other hand, is very much up for a Fifty Shades spin-off following the release on the last in the original trilogy.

Speaking to on This Morning, Rita - who plays Christian's sister Mia - admitted she was "sad" that it was coming to an end and said, "I would love [there] to be another spin-off because I don't want it to end. You never know."
