Mel B sent Jay home
Cheryl then had the decided and sent Jay home
After the ITV singing competition’s judges couldn’t come to a decision who would be eliminated it was then over to presenter Dermot O’Leary for ‘deadlock’.
Dermot then revealed that it would be the person who received the lowest votes who would leave the show. This meant it was a straight exit for Jay. Upon his exit Jay said: “Working with these people has been genuinely amazing, I want to thank everyone.”
Simon, who mentored Jay, said: “He’s genuinely a nice guy in the house and you’ve got a career in front of you.”
