Is Jessica Wright QUITTING The Only Way Is Essex?

The Only Way Is Essex has only just hit our screens again and we were looking forward to seeing if Jessica Wright would meet a handsome new man on the cast’s yearly trip to Marbella.

But, despite a bit of a flirt with TOWIE newby Peter Wicks and being linked to Sunderland footballer Connor Wickham, it seems we may not get much more of a chance to see one of our reality fave’s love life played out on screen – she’s reportedly leaving the show.

Jess, who split from ex-boyfriend and former co-star Ricky Rayment last year, is said to have told ITVBe bosses she’s leaving the programme at the end of the current series.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Jess has had a great run and it has opened a lot of doors for her. She’s got a successful swimwear collection with Ann Summers, a deal to write novels and now she’s looking at other options in television.

“She’s always wanted to give presenting a go and has built up a good set of contacts to make it happen. There is plenty to keep her busy.”

Brainy Jess has a degree in Business and Marketing Management and has put her skills in use by opening her own high street and online boutique.

She has also tried her hand at music having previously released three singles.

However, things may not turn out badly for TOWIE fans as Jess’ departure has not yet been confirmed.

A spokesman for the show told heatworld: “No decisions have been made on the casting beyond the current series.”
