If you can cast your mind back to the day that Love Island adverts first hit our screens, you might remember that a certain Mr Jon Clark from TOWIE was rather devastated to discover his girlfriend, Chloe Crowhurst was in the line up.
But as of last night, when the Essex blondie got dumped from the island alongside Sam Gowland for being the least compatible couple, he certainly seems to have perked up a bit.
LOL.
In a rather cheery Instagram post, he held a pint in hand, and said: “So guys, after watching that episode of Love Island, karma’s a b***h, but you know, I ain’t bothered.”
We feel you Jon. We feel you.
And we can’t blame the TOWIE heart-throb and ex Islander for feeling chuffed, to be honest.
He previously branded Chloe an “evil bitch” and a “liar” after she went onto Love Island when the pair were supposedly still together, claiming she had slept in his bed the night before flying away!
While of course, she said this wasn’t true, Jon shared some preeeetty damning Insta pics of their Whatsapp conversations just days before she entered the villa.
“I’m so happy you’re part of my life, and I’m so excited to make lots more memories with you…” she wrote in one message.
Hmm… we’d like to see you wiggle your way out of that one, Clo.
Despite being a popular member of the Islanders, after last night’s episode, which saw Chloe getting rather pissed off about the fact she’d been sent home by her friends, it seems like viewers are firmly #TeamJon.
His on screen bestie Liam Gatsby tweeted, “Imagine in real life, you sacked off a relationship for a tv show then u had to beg that same relationship back to get on another tv show… you make your own luck in this world my friend,” while another user wrote, “Chloe is a total two faced cow, I can’t be doing with her.”
And we’re sorry Chloe, but the rest of the Twittersphere seem to agree…
