Jorgie Porter ‘leaving Hollyoaks for Hollywood and will film final scenes later this year’

Hollyoaks bosses don’t seem to be having much luck lately – after actress Stephanie Davis was allegedly sacked for turning up to work drunk, Jorgie Porter is reportedly leaving the soap for Hollywood.

Jorgie, who plays Theresa McQueen, will apparently film her final scenes for the show later this year and is planning to settle in America.

A source told the MailOnline: “Jorgie is taking an extended break again. She often gets itchy feet and loves being in LA.”

However, while they would not comment on the star’s future plans, a spokesperson said she would be staying put for a little while yet.

They said: “Theresa McQueen is currently embroiled in exciting storylines well into next year.

“Theresa and her aunt Myra (Nicole Barber-Lane) do come and go from Hollyoaks village but we do not comment on individual artiste’s contracts.”

Jorgie has appeared in the soap since 2008 and her character has had several gripping storylines having been targeted by a serial killer, killed his sister’s husband and been pregnant twice.
