When Jurassic Park first arrived in cinemas back in 1993, who'd have thought that 26 years later the franchise would still be going strong? Well, it most certainly is, with plenty of sequels over the years, including three Jurassic Park films, and so far, two Jurassic World films.
The third film in the Jurassic World trilogy is set to be released in 2021 and now the highly anticipated film has just got even better with the news that three of the original cast members of Jurassic Park will be making an appearance.
Confirmed by Laura Dern on Instagram, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum will be joining her for the new film. Laura, of course played Dr Ellie Sattler in the original film, with Sam playing Dr Alan Grant and Jeff taking on the role of Dr Ian Malcolm.
Laura told fans on Instagram, 'Loved joining my buddy, Colin, to announce the return of the original cast of Jurassic Park back into the Jurassic World. #jurassicpark #jurassicworld @samneilltheprop @jeffgoldblum #colintrevorrow'.
And, whilst her former co-stars have yet to share the exciting news on their socials, Sam has commented on Laura's photo saying, 'Reunion on x'. A fan has also commented, 'OH MY GOSH YES!!!😭💕💕', with another saying, 'OMG!!!!!! Life finds a way 💙💙💙💙💙'.

Brown told NME, "The director is a friend of my girl and he said, 'I've got a part if you want it. I asked my sons, and they were like, 'Do it!' I did it for my sons. My brief was to be a romantic, bohemian wizard. I was into that."
