Katie Price says Peter Andre ‘idolised her’ during new therapy TV show

Katie Price has said that Peter Andre "idolised" her, and suggested that they could still be together if it wasn't for the fact their entire lives were exposed on reality television.

Katie and Peter married in September 2005, after meeting on I'm A Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here in 2004, and filmed nine reality TV series together. Speaking on her new TV show, *Katie Price: In Therapy *about their time together **, she said: “I would say my first husband Pete. Although we were so close, I idolised him and he did me, definitely. But because we met on a TV show, our whole life was on a TV, reality show.”

“Every single thing we would do, whether it was our birthdays, kids born, everything, was a photo shoot and filmed. Everything.

We're not sure if she sees the irony in the fact she's just blamed her problems on exposing her entire life on reality television, while on reality television.

Katie, who had two children with Pete - Junior and Princess Tiaamii - continued: “I thought we could have been together forever. He thought something was going on with me and my horse trainer, basically. And I always said nothing was going on with my horse trainer. But at the end of the day I loved him, I would never have done anything behind his back, or anything like that. But that’s just the way it is.

“I was suddenly trailer trash, bad mum this, bad mum that, so I was attacked. And I was like ‘oh my god what’s happening here'. This isn’t true. I had no one to look after me to control the media. So it ran on and ran on for years I’ve been battered by the press with that.”

Finally, Katie concluded that her experiences had left her "very vulnerable and very gullible.”
